FEDS FORCE GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, AND ELON’S xAI TO HAND OVER AI MODELS FOR GOVERNMENT INSPECTION The Center for AI Standards and Innovation (CAISI) — the Trump administration’s rebrand of Biden’s AI Safety Institute — has quietly secured landmark agreements with Google, Microsoft, and xAI to hand over their most advanced AI models before public release for federal security evaluation. CAISI says it’s already completed over 40 such evaluations, including on secret unreleased models that the public has never seen.
