KPMG JUST HANDED CLAUDE THE KEYS TO 276,000 EMPLOYEES ACROSS THE ENTIRE PLANET

KPMG JUST HANDED CLAUDE THE KEYS TO 276,000 EMPLOYEES ACROSS THE ENTIRE PLANET The accounting giant KPMG made it official this week. Anthropic’s Claude is going into every corner of the firm’s sprawling global operation, touching 276,000 professionals spread across 138 countries. The rollout, formalized under the name KPMG Digital Gateway Powered by Claude, is not some limited pilot or department-level experiment. This is the whole firm betting its future on one AI. The deployment begins with Tax and Legal work, then expands to every advisory service KPMG offers. The firm will have the full system running on Microsoft Azure by September 2026. KPMG is also getting a preferred partner designation for private equity clients, meaning the firm will be steering its portfolio company clients straight to Claude as well. KPMG is not alone in this direction. Deloitte went first with 470,000 employees. PwC followed with a similarly sweeping announcement. Now KPMG. That is three of the four largest professional services firms on earth standardizing on the same AI model within sixty days of each other. When firms that collectively advise most of the Fortune 500 all point their clients in the same direction, that is not a trend. That is a done deal. EY is the last holdout. The pressure on them to announce something similar is now impossible to ignore. Keywords: KPMG Anthropic, Claude enterprise deployment, Big Four AI, professional services AI
