BRETT ADCOCK’S MYSTERY AI HARDWARE STARTUP HARK RAISES $700 MILLION AT $6 BILLION VALUATION BEFORE SHIPPING A SINGLE PRODUCT

BRETT ADCOCK’S MYSTERY AI HARDWARE STARTUP HARK RAISES $700 MILLION AT $6 BILLION VALUATION BEFORE SHIPPING A SINGLE PRODUCT Brett Adcock has built electric aircraft with Archer and humanoid robots with Figure AI. Now the serial entrepreneur is betting his next venture on something he calls a universal AI interface — a device and software platform designed to sit between humans and every digital system they use. That bet just attracted $700 million at a $6 billion valuation, before Hark has released a single commercial product. The Series A round was led by Parkway Venture Capital, with participation from Nvidia, AMD, Intel Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, ARK Invest, and Brookfield. The breadth and prestige of the investor list suggests this is not speculative venture funding. The strategic investors are betting Hark will become critical digital infrastructure. Adcock launched the company in late 2025 with $100 million of his own capital. He has since grown the team to roughly 70 employees and secured a new Nvidia B200 data center to begin training proprietary multimodal models. The first public models are expected this summer, to be followed by dedicated hardware devices built specifically around those systems. The pitch is that the current era of apps, browser tabs, and fragmented digital workflows will collapse into a single AI layer. If Adcock is right, Hark could own that layer and become the interface through which hundreds of millions of people interact with the digital world. If he is wrong, a very impressive list of investors just burned $700 million on a very expensive idea.
