ELON’S AI JUST LANDED ON AMAZON AND IT’S THE CHEAPEST FRONTIER MODEL ON THE PLATFORM
xAI has spent months building Grok into a product that could compete with ChatGPT and Claude for everyday users. Now it is going after something bigger: the enterprise.
Grok 4.3 is now generally available on Amazon Bedrock, the platform that gives enterprise developers access to multiple AI models through a single API. The pricing is $1.25 per million input tokens, which puts it well below competing frontier models on the same platform. The model carries a one-million-token context window, configurable reasoning levels ranging from none to high, native video input, and what xAI claims is the lowest hallucination rate among current frontier models. Enterprise teams using AWS can now access Grok without opening a separate xAI account or negotiating a new contract.
The Bedrock launch is part of a deliberate push to get Grok onto as many cloud platforms as possible. It is now available on Oracle, Azure, Amazon Bedrock, and Databricks. That kind of distribution matters more than it might appear. Enterprise procurement teams do not go hunting for new AI vendors. They use what is already in their cloud. By showing up inside the platforms companies already pay for, Grok becomes a default option rather than a deliberate choice.
For Amazon, the move gives Bedrock a fourth frontier model alongside Anthropic’s Claude, Meta’s Llama, and Mistral, making the platform harder to walk away from as the AI market continues consolidating.
